A little over 2 years ago, a friend mentioned to me that Randi had an upcoming trip planned to CR and asked if I'd be interested in joining the group. At first, I was skeptical since I'd never met Randi but after much thought and because I trust my friend of many years, I went ahead and contacted Randi. Not long after, Randi shared specific details about the trip with me and after doing some research of my own, I went ahead and booked my trip! Best random decision, EVER!
Randi took care of every single detail; all transportation needs, accommodations, an adventure-filled itinerary, several planned meals; she even took my food allergies into consideration, which I truly appreciated. All I had to do was show up and enjoy the trip. The location we stayed in was a beautiful hacienda style home surrounded by an assortment of exotic plants, flowers, fruit trees, wild life, a gorgeous pool, a small river, and acres and acres of land for me to roam freely. My absolute favorite part were the cicadas and their "songs", while some people may find them annoying, I found their constant chirping soothing. I had my own bedroom with a beautiful view of the pool and jungle! We also had our own personal cook Yari so yes, we got to taste some of Costa Rica's cuisine; an added bonus - the meals were prepared fresh daily. I also had the luxury of having fresh off the tree coconuts, courtesy of Joaquin, the groundskeeper. And the weather was perfect! We visited during spring so it was nice and warm and drizzled once maybe twice during our 7 day stay.
During our stay in Costa Rica, Randi led us through several yoga and meditation sessions which were both welcomed and appreciated especially after a day full of activities. Afterwards we would all come together to chat, unwind and relax. It was great coming together as a group to socialize and get to know one another but it was also great to be able to set yourself apart from the others when necessary. I met some of the nicest and kindest individuals on this trip and given the opportunity to travel with Randi again in the near future, I will not hesitate to do so!

If you’re looking to find a new sense of purpose and power, this is it. Randi’s classes, workshops and retreats are beyond! I met her as a novice at home, Yogi. Within a couple months, I learned to become playful on the mat as well as mindful in meditation. She carefully curates her flows with purpose and a backstory, whether it be finding the light of specific chakras or getting into a playful balance to make you feel empowered and strong. As a teacher, she is inclusive to all levels of practice and always encourages to modify accordingly as well as reminding every student that they have the power within themselves to push the limits just a little bit further. No matter what your relationship is to Yoga being a beginner or a long time practiced yogi this is the person for you. I am so grateful for everything that I’ve learned and the strength belt, both physically and mentally practicing with such a well seasoned empathetic, loving, and intuitive teacher.

My fiancé and I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Costa Rica with Randi in March 2022. We both were quite nervous given that it was our first international trip together and it was our first times visiting Costa Rica. I'd have to say, it was quite a wonderful experience. From visiting the many different hot springs in La Fortuna to exploring its natural beauty, it definitely was a memorable time. FYI, if you're going to the Arenal Volcano, wear shoes you'd be comfortable and confident hiking in! The hike is pretty challenging but the view was absolutely worth it!

So, you know that feeling of walking into a new studio or workout class? That look around, where your stomach gets that feeling dread and you instantly bolt for the door? Yoga with Randi is nothing like that! Think of walking into a group of friends and being greeted with smiles and good vibes. From the moment I got to the lot (parking was so easy for a beach lot), Randi was there to be our fearless leader. She offered to come up the hill to get my boyfriend and I. When we found her set up, we weren't just greeted by a warm smile, we got hugs, and she asked me how I was doing. I was having a challenging day. So, having a genuine ask about it and a hug, really helped ease my spirit.
Now in general, I am not a yoga girly. I'm here to support and try new things. First off, if you haven't done yoga at the beach, are you even doing yoga, bro? The weather was perfect, the sun was setting, and it was perfect. We set intentions, we're gently guided through some yummy, deep stretches, and then we did a soundbath. RELAXATION!! Luxurious!!! I'll admit it, I fell asleep. Just for like a couple of minutes. However, I felt like I had the best nap of the year. The setting, the people, the vibe...it just works. Randi has taken care, added love, and topped it off with the technicality that only a seasoned teacher can bring. Do yourself a favor and get to her class!!! Your body will love you for it. I love the class so much I've signed up to go to her retreat in Costa Rica next year! -
Taking yoga classes with Randi has been such an incredible experience. Their warm and inclusive energy makes everyone feel at home, no matter your background or skill level. The sound bath at the end is pure magic, it feels like you’re floating in another realm, completely letting go of the week’s stress. I love how she focus on aligning your chakras while offering gentle modifications to ensure you’re always comfortable. If you’re looking for a unique and restorative yoga practice, this is an experience you truly can’t miss!

I first met Randi as a private yoga instructor. She would teach at our office at the end of our work day. At this time, I learned about her YogAdventures and decided that I had to join up for the next trip, which was YogAdventures In Hawaii, September of 2016. The retreat was lovely. The yoga, restorative and the excursions were exhilarating. This was the first of many adventures, each one unique and meticulously curated.
It’s the little things that make travel special, and not all of your new friends will be what you expected. Among my favorite memories, other than the lovely accomodations at our peaceful and quiet yoga retreat venue in Pahoa, were these cute little geckos who stopped by for breakfast. And why wouldn’t they? Freshly harvested pineapple in Hawaii just tastes better and dining al fresco with the locals is just part of the Travel with Randi experience.

Excellent sequencing, great pace & professional demeanor in all 3 settings. Highly suggest arriving early to reserve good mat real-estate. You can count on a consistent experience! Class is usually 60-90 mins including room for socialization. BYO bolsters & mats! LBGTQ-friendly.

Randi is such a wonderful yoga instructor, both on and off the mat. Her class was the second yoga class I had ever taken in my life, and it was thanks to her beautiful spirit that I enjoyed it so much. Randi is so encouraging, and going to her classes is always something I look forward to!
