Serenity: A Weekly Restorative Yin Experience

Join me at Fireside Sanctuary every Thursday at 7 pm for an immersive journey into relaxation and restoration with my Serenity class. This unique experience combines the gentle, meditative practice of restorative yin yoga with the soothing vibrations of a soundbath, creating a harmonious blend of body, mind, and spirit.

In Serenity, we delve into the deeply nourishing practice of yin yoga, where poses are held for an extended period, allowing for a profound release of tension and a gentle opening of the body's energy channels. Each class is carefully curated to promote relaxation, flexibility, and inner peace.

As we open and close class, you'll be enveloped by the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls and tuning forks. These ancient instruments are thought to promote healing on a cellular level, inducing a state of deep relaxation and balancing the body's energy centers.

Whether you're seeking relief from stress, tension, or simply a space to unwind and recharge, Serenity offers a sanctuary for holistic rejuvenation. Open to practitioners of all levels, come nourish your body, quiet your mind, and reconnect with your inner tranquility amidst the serene ambiance of Fireside Sanctuary.

YinFlow - May - Week 4

YinFlow is a restorative based flow with emphases on the connection of the body’s movement and breath. Aim to arrive no later than 5:50 pm to find me, check in and get your space set up.

Although LA county has opened up a bit more, COVID-19 is still a present threat. We will be outdoors for all of May. But for the safety of everyone involved, classes are mask mandatory. As more people are vaccinated, we will be able to gather unmasked and indoors with proof of vaccination in the future.

You will need: warm/layers of clothes (in case you get cold easily, some people bring a light blanket for the end of class), a yoga mat, a good sized towel and 2 yoga blocks (I have some if need be, but typically run out). If you are sensitive to the sun, bring sunglasses too.

If cash payment will be made on-site, please use the code: RSVPCASH to reserve your space in class only.

 420 Flow - April

420 Flow - April

In this special weekly class, we will move through relaxing restorative movements, while connecting deeper to our breath. Since we will be in a public, outdoor space, I recommend bringing a vape or something that can be easily handled between postures. There will be an open space to consume before class, if that’s easier. There will be a 10 minute meditation + soundbath at the end of class to send you all off feeling restored.

We will remain seated or lie down throughout class. The purpose is to aid in the passivity of the postures. It allows for the ‘busy brained’ person to tone that down a bit easier and get into both the physical and mental aspects of your practice. We unite two actions that stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and the results are just lovely. This class is recommended for persons that already use cannabis and are of legal age, but is beginner friendly in the movement aspect. Any and ALL bodies can do this class, even without cannabis use. So, feel free to bring a friend!

You will need to bring: water, cannabis item of your choice (no big glass pieces - please, be discreet), 2-4 yoga blocks, a yoga mat, a blanket and a towel. I suggest wearing sunglasses if you are sun sensitive.
